How to
make a Video Compact Disc (VCD) for DVD Players*
READ ALL DIRECTIONS FIRST.

1. Download a copy of the
large AVI version of the video(s) you want to burn. It might take
awhile, especially on dial-up, but it will be worth the wait.
2. Make sure you save the video in a
place you will not forget. If you don't have the option to save
the video to a certain location, you will have to search in your
temporary internet files for the video.
3. You will need the "Nero Burning"
program to do this and you can get it for FREE by going to
Download.com If
you already have it, skip steps A-E, but if you need it...GO GET
IT NOW FOR FREE! Here's how:
- A. Click the
Download.com
link to get to their front page.
- B. Type "nero burning" into
the search section and click "Go".
- C. Install the program and
restart your computer.
- D. Double click the icon that
says "Nero Burning Rom" on your desktop.
- E. Use the program as a demo.
4. Next, a write log will come up.
Make sure that the choice is on CD, not on DVD or any other.
5. The following screen will have a
choice to make a new CD or copy a CD. Choose the new CD option.
6. The next screen will have a
option to make a CD, Data CD or other formats. Choose other
formats.
7. After that, choose Video CD and
then choose finish.
8. The rest of the program is drag
and drop.
9. Press the icon with the flames
coming out of it to burn the CD
10. Choose a speed and click burn.
Your new THREE
SIXES VCD is now done. Go show it, copy it and play it for
everyone, whether they want to see it or not!
*VCD will not display a menu like
a normal DVD, instead it will only display track selections like
an audio CD. Some older model DVD players do not play VCD's, but
most newer ones will.
